Hardwood meets Hexagon Hive

 I love doing things considered "outside the box".  Taking a color combination or stamp combination that would terrify the faint of heart and turn them into something beautiful.
I love the Hardwood Stamp...seriously....love it.  I decided to take it to Basic Black cardstock with Craft Ink and this is the result I got.  I love it!  It's so different and interesting.
I stamped to pieces of black with the Craft Ink and ran one of them through the Big Shot with the Hexagon Hive Thinlit.  Taking some dimensionals behind the Hexagon Hive I popped it up on top of that other piece of black to get this slightly dimensional look.
The flower is from Flower Shop and done with Coastal Cabana and Daffodil Delight Blendablities.  Can't say enough about this fabulous markers!

Another Convention Swap

Here is another one of my Convention Swaps.  Strawberry Slush steals the show with this super fun card.  It's inspired by a card I saw on Pinterest.  I do love me some Pinterest!
Pretty sure this super cutie is going to make a debut at Just Cards Class in August!


I love the idea of punching through both layers to reveal the Work of Art chevron image below.

Convention Swaps

As this blog post goes live I will be on a flight destined for Salt Lake City, Utah to attend Convention!
I'm beyond excited!  I have been a demonstrator for 1 1/2 years and this is my very first Convention.  Everyone has told me it's the most amazing experience.  I can't wait to share all the excitement with all of you!  But for now I will share one of my Convention Swaps.  I made so many of these I couldn't even tell you.  I have a total of about 150 swaps with me, and this little cutie is my favorite.


When I think of summer I think of watermelon.  Just goes hand in hand.  This little cutie is made from the 2 1/2" circle Punch and Circle Collection Framelits.  To add that special little touch I took a "bite" out of it with my 7/8" Scallop Circle Punch.  I love this card and can't wait to share it with others!
