Hello Fall Box

You would never know it's fall in Gettysburg, PA today...October 28th and it's 80 degrees.  80!  Of course tomorrow the temperatures will plummet and get back down to the normal 50/60's we have this time of year, but it's summer for the day!
Even though the temperatures scream summer, the trees are at their prettiest of the fall.  Orange, red and yellow leaves scattered all over our lawn.  They're beautiful, I love this time of year.
This sweet little box is made using the Gift Box Punch Board.  If you haven't had a chance to play with it yet, it makes creating boxes super fast and easy with no cutting required.  The boxes fold up nice and neat and look great every time.

For All Things and the Color Me Autumn DSP are the stars of this show.  I love the swoosh watermark look this set comes with.  I used Crumb Cake ink for the background and Mossy Meadow for the wheat image.  The hello fall sentiment is stamped in Blackberry Bliss on Crumb Cake swoosh mark and fussy cut out.  I used a small strip of the Color Me Autumn DSP to wrap a belly band around this box for some added color.  The wooden acorn is from the Autumn Wooden Elements.

I hope you are enjoying your fall season!

Cute lil' Frankie

Do you send out Halloween cards?  Of course you do!  We send cards for everything, don't we!?  This cute lil' Frankie is from the Freaky Friends stamp set.  I've stamped him in StazOn Black ink and colored him in using my Old Olive Stampin' Write Marker, but you could totally use Momento Black Ink and shade him beautifully with your Old Olive Blendabilities Markers!
That super cute designer series paper is from Motley Monsters, I toally dig it!  Of course I really love Halloween!  I simply trimmed my DSP to size and then using my Paper Snips flagged the bottoms.  The Old Olive Card Base is embossed with the Woodgrain Embossing Folder for some added texture!
It's almost Halloween, won't be long now!!!
My kids are already begging to wear their costumes, what about your's??

Candy, candy, candy!

Halloween is almost here!  I love Halloween for lots of reasons, but having a reason to make up cute little packages is probably my favorite!  Kids love this time of year for the candy, but we crafty moms love it for the packages : )

This super cutie starts with a Polka Dot Tag a Bag.  These kraft bags are food safe and so much fun to use for lots of projects.  If you like to give something other than candy on Halloween, these bags are the best.  Of course you can put candy in as well, but they will hold a serious amount!
One of my favorite things to give out is popcorn.  Yep, microwave popcorn.  A much healthier alternative to candy and just as much fun.  These little bags easily hold a microwaveable popcorn package, and they do it with style!

To decorate the package I used the Banner Framelits to cut out a piece of the Motley Monsters Designer Series Paper.  I stamped the witch from the Freaky Friends set in Momento black ink.  I then used my Blendabilities to color in the witch and her broom.  If you don't have the Blendabilities, you could use StazOn and color with your markers as well.
Stamp the Ghoulish Greetings sentiment in White Craft Ink on Basic Black Card Stock.
The stars are punched from Gold Glimmer paper and that ridiculously cute twine is on page 45 of the Holiday Catalog.

What would you put in this bag for a spooky treat?
