Seasonal Love

This simple and lovely card will be one of the cards at my Just Cards Class on November 28th.
Seasonally Scattered is a stamp set in the Holiday Catalog that ends on January 5th, so if you have falling in love with these big and beautiful sentiments, you might want to pick up this set before it's gone!  The sentiments include Thanks, Merry and Love.  Great for lots of occasions!
This is a typical A2 size card measuring 8 1/2" X 5 1/2" scored at 4 1/4".
The designer series paper measures 3 1/2" X 4 3/4" and is from Lullaby.  Proof that this beautiful paper doesn't have to just be for baby projects!
Start by stamping the paint splatter image from Gorgeous Grunge on your card front with Smoky Slate ink.  I only stamped twice, you don't want to over do it!

Take a piece of Whisper White and stamp your Love greeting with Smoky Slate ink.  Then run that through your Big Shot with the largest Banner Framelit.  The entire image will not fit, but it should look like this when you're done.  Take the small heart from the Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack and punch a heart wherever you like.  I angled mine just a bit.
Tie around a little Crisp Cantaloupe Thick Bakers Twine and then adhere the banner to the DSP with dimensionals.  If you wanted to jazz this card up even more, our Basic Rhinestones would look beautiful scattered around the LOVE sentiment!

Coral Bordering Blooms

Time to take a little break from Christmas projects to pretend like it's spring for a minute!
This beautiful card is made using the Bordering Blooms Photopolymer set in the 2014-2015 Annual Catalog.  I can't express the benefits of photopolymer enough.  Talk about super sticky and super easy!  You can see straight through them for perfect placement every time.

A Dozen Thoughts supplies the sweet sentiment for this card.  This is one of my go-to sets for sentiments.  I hope you all enjoy this 'spring time' card.  Hopefully it will help warm your soul a bit!

Many Merry Stars Wreath

I'm in love with these sweet little (well some are not so little) star boxes and looking for as many ways as possible to use them!  Wreaths are one of my favorite home decor items because they set the stage for your home.  They are the first thing someone sees when they ring your door bell and chances are they are going to be looking at it for a few minutes before you get to the door, so make it good!  You never know, you might get a new crafting friend from it!

I was determined to use things I had on hand for this wreath.  I found a 12" foam form wreath and 30 feet of 6" wide dark red sheer ribbon.  So that's where it started!  I wrapped all the ribbon around the wreath form and pinned it in place.  Then I took our Gold Sequin Trim around it for some added bling.  Then just pick some stars!  You could totally cover the entire wreath form with stars if you wanted, but I only wanted to use three for this project because I have lots more ways to show you how to use them!

Decorate up those little beauties and hot glue them to your wreath.  This one is actually hot glued to the two star boxes below it to create a layered effect.

Now technically speaking, this wreath will not work on my front door because it's too wide to get the door closed, however there is a solution!  You could just use it as an indoor decoration (which is what I plan to do) or you could use a different wreath base.  Using a metal frame wreath would work great because they are typically have less depth than the foam wreaths.  You could even cut out a wreath shape from a strong piece of chip board and cover it with your ribbon or even burlap!

Winter Wonderland

White Christmas is a beautiful photopolymer set that lends itself to so many different scenes.  I used just the landscape scene and the Merry Christmas banner for this card.  The best part is it's simple to stamp!  Being photopolymer means you can see completely through the stamp so you get perfect placement every single time!

I used Momento Tuxedo Black Ink to stamp the scene and banner.  I then used my Blendabilities to color in the banner with Coastal Cabana to match my card stock.  The trees are done with the Skin Tone Assortment Blendabilities.  Although because the line is so small, you could use just a Stampin' Write Marker as well.  Be sure not to use StazOn on your Photopolymer sets.  The chemicals in the ink can damage your stamps over time.
I hope you enjoy this simple Christmas card!
