NEW Product SNEAK PEEK!

As you guys know I just came back from Convention recently and had the opportunity to buy select items from the Holiday Catalog while I was there!  Well I found some time to create some cute stuff with all my new goodies and can't wait to share them with you, but for now, here's a Sneak Peek at a few new products in the Holiday Catalog that will go live on August 28th!

Of course I love the new stamp sets and papers, but I have to say that I think my new favorite is going to be the tool that created this box!  Yes, a punch board designed specifically for boxes!  And it's so easy to use!
Can't wait to share more exciting goodies from the Holiday Catalog!

Masculine Monday #5

This Masculine Card features Washi Tape as the star of the show!  This card is BEYOND easy to make and the sentiment could be added later to suit any occasion.  The washi tape is Beach House from the new Annual Catalog.  You can see all the Washi Tapes we have available HERE
I love Beach House because the colors are so versatile.  They can be masculine, feminine or gender neutral.  Real Red, Crushed Curry and Pool Party make up this tape.  The patterns are fun and on trend!

I simply wrapped some Linen Thread around this layer and stamped Congratulations from the Photopolymer set Bravo in Crushed Curry ink.  You could make a few of these cards up to have on hand though and stamp them as you need them.

Convention Experience

One thing I can say about my Convention experience is I am more pumped than ever to share my love of paper crafting with the people in my life!  It's incredibly powerful to be in a space filled with 4,000 people who share your passion for paper.

These are just a few of the photos from Convention.  I was lucky enough to win Prize Patrol with my Lost Lagoon Wrist Band, so needless to say that's my new favorite color!  I had lots of photo ops with my fellow demos.  There was so much fun to be had it took me two days to recoup after I got home!

This photo was taken at the Legacy Room at the home office with two of my favorite sidelines.

Look at all those swaps!  I went with 170 card swaps and 30 3D swaps so I got all these back in return!  So many amazing ideas from other demos!

This photo was taken in the Home Office at Riverton, Utah.  We went for a tour and our bus driver dropped us off at the warehouse door entrance instead of the front door!!  Too funny, I know!  So we were actually in a part of the processing center we shouldn't have been...great time for a photo!

This photo is one of my favorites.  These are some of my amazing sidelines and uplines at the Awards Night After Party.  We had so much fun and the food was awesome!  Plus there was a mechanical bull!  NO...I didn't ride it...thought about it, but no!  One of the best parts of this experience was to spend more time with my upline, Connie Heisey.  Name sound familiar?  She's the beauty in the blue dress next to me in this picture.  She is Stampin' Up's! most recent Million Dollar Earner.  So it was an absolute honor to be by her side through my first Convention.  I have to admit I had a few special name for her that included "Paparazzi" and the "Golden Goose".  Ahhhh.....the memories!

One final photo is one of my favorites...I finally had the chance to meet Ronda Wade in person.  I adore Ronda.  I had a chance to squeeze the stuffin' out of her and loved every second!

I hope you all enjoyed some of my photos from Convention.  I hope I'm able to attend every single year and would love to have you by my side!  Join my team of Paper Peeps and you too can enjoy all these Stampin' Up! events and perks!  Joining Stampin' Up! was one of the best decisions I have ever made!

Here's another use for smaller pieces of DSP, so don't throw them out!  Like you would.... : )
I had a lot of fun making this cute little baby girl card.  I have to admit, I have had a little bit of baby fever here lately!  My twins are 3 1/2 now, so "my babies" are more like kids now.  The cuddle me baby stage has been replaced by monster trucks and wrestling.  So I enjoy each time I'm able to smooze on someone's baby!  I'm loving the new Something to Say stamp set.  So many sentiments that can be used together or separately.
I put another small strip of DSP on the inside for a little extra something.

Did you notice this super cute little flower?  It's from the Something for Baby set cut out with the coordinating framelits.  To color that pearl, yep that's a pearl, I use the Daffodil Delight Blendabilities.  Blendabilities are alcohol based permanent markers, so the color won't rub off!  Talk about customized embellishments!

Masculine Monday #4

The Buy 3 Get 1 Free Designer Series Paper sale is soon coming to a close on July 31st, so if you haven't already taken advantage of this super awesome deal, hurry!  Click HERE to see the available papers.
This card is much simpler than it looks.  The DSP strips are from the Maritime DSP and are cut at 1/2" X 3 1/2".  I flagged the ends by hand, but you can also use your Banner Punch for this!  Just insert the end of the paper from the bottom of the punch, through the hole rather than the side.  Line it up and punch!

That sweet little anchor comes from Sea Street and with the help of two punches it pops at the top of this card.  I hope you guys are enjoying this Masculine Monday series!  If you have an questions or have something specific you would like to see, comment below and let me know!
