Last minute Valentine is a snap!

Are you down to the wire and still need to get some Valentine's Day cards done!?
This card is crazy fast to put together, requires very little supplies and can be done is mass production very easily!  It uses that Hey, Valentine stamp set again.  I really do love this set!
For this card I used one of my favorite color combinations; Coastal Cabana, Real Red, Basic Black and Whisper White.  They lend themselves really nicely to Valentine's projects!

So here are the measurements so you can get making your cards!

Coastal Cabana card base 5 1/2" X 8 1/2" scored at 4 1/4"
2 Strips of Stacked with Love DSP stack 1" X 5 1/2" and 1" X 4"
Real Red card stock 3 1/4" X 3 1/4"
Whisper White card stock 3" X 3"
A small piece of Black Taffeta Ribbon
A small Red Glimmer Paper heart punched

Assembling the card is simple!  You can watch the video below for visual instructions.  Attach both of the DSP layers with SNAIL adhesive directly onto the Coastal Cabana card base.  Stamp your Valentine's Day pirate onto your piece of Whisper White, then use SNAIL to adhere it to your piece of Real Red card stock.  Before you place it onto your card base, use your stapler to staple a small piece of ribbon to the upper right hand part of the card.  If you don't have a stapler, you can use some liquid glue or even a glue dot.  Take your small glimmer paper heart and place it over the staple with a glue dot.  Now you can adhere your Pirate piece to the card base.  Use some dimensionals to add a bit of depth to your card.  That's it!  Super simple, cute and sure to put a smile on your Valentine's face!

Masculine Monday From the Herd

When you were flipping through the 2015 Occasions Catalog did you stop at this set and say "Oh my goodness!  So cute!"?  Me too!!!  I love the funny faces on these farm animals, especially the llama!
Of course this set would be perfect for coloring with your Blendabilities, Aqua Painters or Stampin' Write Markers...but you can leave it just as a lined image too!  This simple card can be created in just a few minutes and it's just as cute as other colored in versions!

Here is the inside of the card.  I love the "From the Herd" sentiment!  I have a family of 5, so this makes me giggle.  I often feel like we have a herd for a family when I'm writing all those names on a card!  This card will be featured at my Just Cards Class in February.  Click the "Classes" tab above for more information on how you can join me in person or get this class by mail for FREE!

Celebrate with Washi

One of the coolest new products in the 2015 Occasions Catalog are the Washi Sheets.  They are the same as our Washi Tape Rolls, but in a 6"X12" sheet so you can do so much more with them! Cut them into any shape you like or use them as a whole sheet to cover something larger to decorate it!
I've used the Balloon Framelits to cut out this piece of washi for this card.  Super simple and fun!

The stamp set comes with lots of sentiment opportunities but probably the most generic and perfect for most occasions is this one.  This card could be a birthday card to a retirement card and lots of things in between.  It will be one of the featured cards at my Just Cards Class later this month as well!  Live nearby and want to join me?  Click HERE to RSVP
Long distance but want my Just Cards Class projects?  Great news, you can!
Just place a minimum $25 order using Hostess Code YW6AHFNC by February 25th and I will send you this card as well as 5 others FREE!  Click HERE to Order!
Please note when you order DO NOT CLICK NO CONTACT.  If you do I won't be able to see any of your information and of course would be unable to mail you the cards!

Masculine Monday Gift Box

I like simple...simple makes me happy.  Cute and simple, even better!  This box has the best of both worlds.  The box itself is one of the Takeout Boxes.  These super fun packages are easy to put together and lend themselves to all kinds of projects.  Before I assembled this box, I used my Stars Mask, a sponge dauber and some White Craft Ink to decorate the outside of the box.  Craft ink does take a bit longer to dry than our Classic inks, so be sure to plan accordingly or use your heat tool to heat set it.  While I was waiting for the stars to dry I started working on the tag.

Using your White Craft Ink again, stamp the Way to Go sentiment onto some of the new Chalkboard Paper.  There are a couple tips to go along with this amazing paper.  When you first look at it you will notice there is a smooth card stock type side and a velvety side.  You want to stamp on the velvet like side.  Also be sure to apply even pressure when stamping and let the ink set for just a second longer before you pick up your stamp.  If you have tried stamping with White Craft Ink on Basic Black Card Stock before you know that it comes out almost translucent.  It's difficult to get a nice crisp image on Basic Black, but this new Chalk Board paper takes stamping to new heights, I love it!
