Colorful Christmas

Sometimes we get sick of the same old red and green combination for Christmas tags and cards.
This year blues and silvers seem to be very popular...well I took it a step farther and pulled out my Wisteria Wonder to create this soft and subtle snowflake tag and card.
By layering the snowflake on the tag above with dimensionals between each of the layers, it gives a lot of depth and beauty to the snowflake it self.  It's accented with a strip of our Silver Glimmer Paper, then a piece of our Winter Frost Specialty Designer Series Paper and finally Wisteria Wonder cardstock.  I punched a hole at the top and used some of our beautiful 1/8" Silver Ribbon to tie it to a package.  The layers of snowflake, starting with the largest is Wisteria Wonder ink on Whisper White Cardstock, a snowflake die cut from Silver Glimmer Paper, one stamped with our Silver Encore pad on Wisteria Wonder cardstock and finally another one stamped with Wisteria Wonder ink on Whisper White cardstock, then decorated with Dazzling Diamonds using a 2-Way Glue Pen.

The card came together easily.  The card base is Wisteria Wonder Cardstock with a layer of Whisper White on the front that has been embossed with our Northern Flurry Embossing Folder.
I took a strip of Silver Glimmer Paper and adhered it with SNAIL.  Then stamped my sentiment "Merry Christmas" from the Greetings of the Season Stamp set it Wisteria Wonder, flagged the one end and used Tombo Multipurpose Glue to put that on my glimmer paper.  The snowflake is simply the smaller 3 snowflakes, the largest one is stamped on whisper white with wisteria wonder ink, the second is stamped with our silver encore pad on wisteria wonder cardstock and the last is stamped on whisper white with wisteria wonder ink and accented with dazzling diamonds.
Just put some rhinestones on the center of the snowflakes and you have a beautiful, completely non-traditional, but beautiful Christmas Card or tag.
