Simple Saturday Project
I'm always in search of simple and quick, yet beautiful cards to send as thank you notes and thinking of you cards. The new 2014 Occasions Catalog made my life even simpler with this Happy Watercolor Stamp Set. You need only a couple of things to get this beautiful, yet stunningly simple card. Whisper White Cardstock Base 8 1/2" X 5 1/2" scored at 4 1/4"
Crisp Cantaloupe Card stock 5 " X 3 3/4"
Baked Brown Sugar Card Stock 4 3/4" X 3 1/2"

I simple stamped the flower image and the 'psst...' with Baked Brown Sugar ink and then stamped the Crisp Cantelope watercolor mark overtop the flower. The inside of the card is stamped with the "you make me happy" sentiment from this set as well. I used SNAIL adhesive to adhere the Whisper White, Baked Brown Sugar and Crisp Cantaloupe layers together and then used dimensionals to attach that piece to the card base. If you wanted to add a little extra something you could use some Rhinestones or Pearls to accent the flower or under the 'psst...' or even tie some ribbon or bakers twine around the main panel.
