Spring Centerpiece

Second to making cards, creating home décor is one of my favorite things to do.  I love to make wreaths, framed art, 3D pieces and table pieces like this one.  I created this adorable centerpiece using our brand new Spiral Flower Die and Scallop Tag Topper Punch from the 2014 Occasions Catalog.  I chose the Watercolor Wonder DSP because it looks fabulous as flowers!
To make the 'band' that goes around the candle (which by the way is a battery operated one -NEVER LIGHT A REAL CANDLE DECORATED LIKE THIS) is created by taking two pieces of paper, I chose some of the Watercolor DSP and Gold Foil Paper, both cut to the same length, but the Watercolor paper is cut 1/2" narrower.  Punch both ends of your paper, and aim for the center of the punch with your Watercolor piece of course.  I used SNAIL adhesive to attach the DSP to the Foil sheet and then took some of our Gold Bakers Twine to tie the two together.
Wouldn't this be a great centerpiece for wedding tables???  Oh the ideas!
