Masculine Monday - You and Me

This easy man card was featured at my Valentine's Day class this past Friday.  Although women and most kids can appreciate a 'cutesy' valentine or lovey-dovey card, most men would prefer not to be subjected to red glimmer hearts, frilly roses and hoards of fu-fu ribbons.
So this simple, yes sophisticated man card will for sure be your hubby's favorite valentine yet.

Start with a pear pizazz card stock base measuring 5 1/2" X 8 1/2" scored at 4 1/4".
Stamp your heart image randomly on the front of the card with Pear Pizazz ink.  I stamped 3 times before reinking.  While you have your Pear Pizazz ink pad opened, ink up your lined image from the Perfect Pennants stamp set and stamp off on some scrap paper.  Then stamp it towards the bottom half of your Very Vanilla piece.  With your You and Me stamp inked in Night of Navy, stamp it in the middle towards the left side.  Take the small heart punch from the Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack and punch out a heart at the lower right hand corner.
Now adhere your vanilla piece to your piece of Typeset DSP.
With a small piece of Pear Pizazz Cotton Ribbon and Crushed Curry Chevron ribbon, stack them nicely with their ends trimmed and staple them to your vanilla and DSP piece.  Men love staples...very manly embellishment if you ask me : )
I popped that whole piece up on dimensionals.

I hope you find some Valentine's inspiration for a man in your life from this project!
