I'm sorry this is posting on Tuesday instead of Monday. One of my little guys was having some breathing trouble yesterday so we spent a lot of the day in the Emergency Room. Good news is he's a-ok and doing better now, but it appears that Masculine Monday is more like Testosterone Tuesday this week : )
This stamp set is one of my favorites. It's just so pretty and lends itself to all kinds of cards. This card is super simple and doesn't have any ribbons, buttons or brads. It's just paper and ink. It starts with an Early Espresso Card Base measuring 5 1/2" X 8 1/2", scored at 4 1/4".
Next layer is Garden Green and it measures 5 1/4" X 4"
The final layer is a piece of Whisper White that measures 5" X 3 3/4".
To get this look with the tree you will need to stamp the tree in Early Espresso ink. Then with the leaves stamp with Old Olive ink, rotate the stamp slightly and stamp again with Garden Green ink. This adds a bit of dimension to the tree leaves.
The grass around the bottom of the tree is actually stamped 3 times with Old Olive ink. I wanted more grassy area at the bottom. Thinking Of You is stamped in Early Espresso Ink at the very bottom of the card and that completes it!
Super easy and requires no fancy tools or machines...just Stamps, Ink and Paper. Back to the Basics! Hope you guys love this card!
