Your Perfect Day Sketch

I'm blessed to be part of Connie Heisey's PROVERBial Stampers Team and have the pleasure of creating a Sketch and Color Challenge each month for her team Facebook page.  I love being creative and inspiring others to do the same.  Sketch and Color Challenges are a great way to encourage that!
This is the original Sketch I created for March.

And here is my version!

I used the Your Perfect Day stamp set and the Something Borrowed Designer Series Paper to create this beautiful card.  The pieces of DSP measure 1 1/2" X 1 1/2" squares mounted on a 3 1/2" X 3 1/2" piece of Whisper White card stock.  You will need to adhere them down using SNAIL adhesive being sure to leave the same border around each of the squares.  I then used SNAIL to adhere that piece to the Sahara Sand Card Stock base that measured 5 1/4" X 4".
With a piece of scrap Whisper White, stamp the circle pattern with Pear Pizazz ink.  Add your sentiment to the center using Sahara Sand and add the flower image with Rose Red ink.  You can either punch this circle out with the 2 1/2" Circle Punch or use your Circle Framelits.
Wrap a piece of Venetian Crochet Trim around the Sahara Sand layer and secure it on the back with some Scotch Tape.  Use Dimensionals to put the Circle piece and Sahara Sand layer on the front of your card.

The inside is done simply with a piece of 5 1/4" X 4" Whisper White Card Stock.  Stamp your sentiment in Sahara Sand and your flower at the bottom in Pear Pizazz and Rose Red inks.

I hope you enjoy this simple, yet pretty wedding card.
