Masculine Monday

Sheltering Tree is such a beautiful stamp set.  Trees are always a great go-to stamp no matter what the occasion!  This card is very simple.  No fancy tools, no punches, no Big Shot...just stamps, ink and paper.  So here's what you'll need to make it:

Early Espresso Card Stock: 5 1/2" X 8 1/2" scored at 4 1/4"
Garden Green Card Stock: 5 1/4" X 4"
Whisper White Card Stock: 5" X 3 3/4"
Old Olive, Garden Green and Early Espresso Ink

Start by stamping the tree image with Early Espresso ink.  Then ink up the leaves with Old Olive and stamp them on your tree.  Clean your stamp and ink it up with Garden Green.  Slightly adjust the stamp orrientation so that the leaves won't stamp directly on top of the Old Olive leaves, but next to them.  It gives more dimension to the tree and makes it look fuller.
With Old Olive ink again, stamp the grass at the bottom of the tree two or three times.  I adjusted the stamp to create more grass at the bottom.
Lastly stamp your sentiment in the bottom left hand corner.
Adhere your layers together and this simple beauty is ready to mail!
