This one's for all my 3 X 3 card lovers! You know who you are! Something about these pint sized paper hugs just makes my heart sing!
This project uses the Irresistibly Yours DSP from the SAB Brochure. This emboss resist paper can be colored so many different ways. Brayer it, sponge it, spritz it, Aqua Painter it, Blender Pen it, Markers, even take that ink pad straight to the paper! Really! This paper has so many possibilities!
The inside of this card is just as cute as the outside. The best part is using the 2013-2015 In Colors. As many of you know, these colors will retire very soon. Once the Retiring List becomes available in April they will sell out in a matter of hours...always do. So if you love them, place that order and stock up on card stock and reinkers before it's too late!
So here's what you will need to create this cutie:
Baked Brown Sugar Card Stock 3" X 6" scored at 3"
Whisper White Card Stock 2 7/8" X 2 7/8"
Irresistibly Yours DSP 2 3/4" X 2 3/4"
Inside piece:
Whisper White 2 3/4" X 2 3/4"
I used a sponge dauber to add Pistachio Pudding ink to the DSP and then wiped over the leaves with a piece of paper towel to remove any residual ink. Wrap around a piece of Strawberry Slush Baker's Twine for a cute finishing bow to the front.
The Easter Eggs are colored using each of the 5 2013-2015 In Color Markers. Be sure to 'huff' on your image before stamping it! Watch the video below for complete instructions:
